Hold MP’s Accountable for The Emergency Act
This February an unprecedented thing happened in Canada. After 3 weeks of peaceful protest against government overreach the Trudeau Liberals backed up by Jagmeet Singh and the NDP voted to bring in National Emergency powers. This is the equivalent of Martial Law and the War Measures Act. This move was uncalled for and NEVER met the basic criteria for the Emergencies Act which is reserved for critical national emergencies only. There were never any discussions, dialog or negotiation with the truckers or the organizers.
It is time to hold these MP's personally accountable and ultimately liable for their actions.
Here is a link to all the MP's that voted YES or YEA to bring in this motion.
We have prepared a very easy template for you to request from your MP an explanation of how and why they voted YEA for the invoking the Emergency Act. Please use the form below to demand that your MP explain themselves and reply to you. Please send us any responses from your MP to firstname.lastname@example.org as we are gathering this information for legal action against them. If you want a fast and easy way, below is a form for you to fill out and send an email to them very quickly.
This is the letter that will be sent
